Airborne Parachute Type 13Military

There have been other parachutes designed with safety in the air or in landing. Type 13 Airborne Parachute balances both air and landing safety features designed into the product.

  • Parachute designed for safety both in the air and in landing
  • Specially designed for safety in the air so that the jumper does not have to be concerned with mid-air collisions and superimposing with another parachute. Because of this, the system limits control to avoid erroneous and excessive operation by inexperienced jumpers.

Safety in the air: Excellent

  • Refers to the rebound ability of the chute in mid-air collision and the ability to keep the chute open when approaching another chute vertically even with the effect of after flow of the chute underneath

Safety in landing: Good

  • Refers to the ability to decelerate for landing and the ability of the jumper to avoid rocks and trees by controlling the chute to move away from these obstacles

Direction of drop under no operation: Straight down

Maneuverability: Yes

  • Pull both control lines to move backward. Pull one control line to turn in the direction of the line.

Posture prior to landing: Approach away from the wind

  • When referring to the posture, the normal posture just before landing is either forward or side. If one is not taking either of these postures, it would be difficult to perform the five-point landing.

Possible to do a mass exit from both sides of a fixed-wing aircraft

  • It does not collapse when chutes collide from the top vertically

Easy to collect the static lines by a loadmaster

  • It uses a special deployment bag separation system so that the bag does not remain inside the aircraft
